Hope to stimulate some more technical dicussions - so here goes. I have a 2.0 Ambassador with an auto box and when left for a few days without driving in cold weather the auto box slips badly until the engine warms up a bit. When warmed up the gearbox seems to operate well. mpg over a mix of short and medium journeys averages 24. This seems OK to me but any views? Any ideas about the slipping auto box? Ed
